The Second Master’s Thesis Has Been Successfully Completed at Our Center

The second master’s thesis on behalf of our Center has been completed within the Occupational Health and Safety Master’s Program at the Institute of Graduate Studies at Istanbul Gelisim University.

Mahmut Sevgi, a student in the Master's Program in Occupational Health and Safety at the İnstitute of Graduate Studies of Istanbul Gelisim University, has completed his Master's thesis.

An article authored by our Center Director, Dr. Esra Yalçın, has been published on behalf of our center in an international journal.

The 2023-İSG/2 session has concluded. Candidates were administered a test consisting of 50 multiple-choice questions in five different certification areas. The number of applicants was 42,053. However, the release date for the 2023-İSG/2 results has been specified as January 3, 2023.

The artificial intelligence early warning system supported by TÜBİTAK aims to ensure job security of field teams. Trakya Elektrik Dağıtım AŞ (TREDAŞ) supports occupational safety activities with EWSAI (Early Warning System with Artificial Intelligence) artificial intelligence supported system in field studies.

TÜPRAG Metal and Mining Company was deemed worthy of an award at the Occupational Health and Safety Awards held by Euromines.

By Article 17 of the Occupational Health and Safety Law No. 6331; employers ensure that employees receive occupational health and safety training. OHS training is given before employees start work, on the job, field training, job changes, equipment-production method changes, returning to work of an employee who has an illness or an accident, or at periods that vary according to the hazard class and during the periods stipulated by the legislation.

After the disaster in the Amasra Mining Accident, the investigation commission established in the Grand National Assembly of Turkey completed its work and the Accident Investigation Commission Report was prepared. The Accident Investigation Commission of the Grand National Assembly of Turkey was established to take precautions of such accidents in the mines and to prevent them from happening again.
